Charles tells his story with Sebastian as a flashback as his memories overtake his mind.
Much like Charles, I found myself in Boystown in Chicago, unexpectedly twenty years after I first visited it with my friend Alex. My memoir, Boystown Revisited, is told in a flashback as the location tugged my memories. That is the basis for my memoir.
