My New Favorite Activity–Cussing out that PUNK, Young Sheldon!

I hate this kid.

Sheldon Cooper is an egotistical, self-centered, narcissistic “genius” who thinks the whole world revolves around him. This is seen on “The Big Bang Theory.” Sheldon lacks all social skills, and people, including his wife, only tolerate him because he is special.

Rude Sheldon insults his mother, the person who spoils him.

To understand how a 30-year-old genius can grow up so inept, only turn the channel to “Young Sheldon. It all started there.

Young Sheldon is disrespectful and insulting to adults. He calls his father stupid by saying he isn’t his “intellectual role model.”

You can expect a child to insult his siblings but not his parents and grandmother. Once and only once did anyone hit him for his slick mouth. His father, George, wanted to many times, but his mother, Mary, stepped in to protect her “baby.”

Actually, Sheldon isn’t the baby of the family. His twin sister was born second, but their enabling mother treats Sheldon as the baby.

The family dynamics are the classic spoiled baby with the ignored middle child role undeservedly going to Missy. The oldest child, Georgie, is super responsible and relatively mature, except for getting a woman pregnant out of wedlock.

Every time Sheldon is disrespectful to adults, which is multiple times in each episode, Mary steps in to protect him. When it looks like another adult is angry at Sheldon and might discipline him, Mary reminds them that Sheldon is “special” and they should tolerate his disrespectful behavior.

In those moments when Sheldon is disrespectful, I chastise him on the screen as if he can really hear me. I yell at the adults to spank him or slap him in the face. Naturally, they never do, and I know they can’t hear me, but I enjoy it immensely. I love yelling at Sheldon and his family when they spoil him.

Although Mary is frustrated with Sheldon’s behavior, she refuses to discipline him or try to correct his rude, antisocial behavior.

My therapist would say I’m projecting or something like that. Like the show “Everyone Loves Raymond,” I relate to “Young Sheldon.” Both shows have the ignored responsible older brother. That’s me. They also have the much-loved, by the mother, the youngest brother. I can personally relate to that.

With Sheldon, he grows up to be inept and incompetent. He can’t navigate life as an adult and relies on the people around him to rescue him from situations that he is unable to handle with his intellectual superiority. This is all Mary’s fault. Even when Sheldon is 13 years old and going to college, Mary is still calling him baby.

Sheldon never grew up; he just got older and taller.

When a mother does this to a child, it emotionally and socially stunts them. They can grow up feeling entitled, expecting all the people around them to meet and fulfill their wants and needs. I have seen this firsthand.

Like I said, I relate to the oldest, most responsible son.

However, unlike with Georgie, my younger brother isn’t a genius.

My brother wasn’t a genius, far from it.

Have you ever thought about adding a little bit more than just your articles? I mean, what you say is important and all. Nevertheless think about if you added some great images or video clips to give your posts more, “pop”! Your content is excellent but with pics and clips, this blog could undeniably be one of the greatest in its niche. Superb blog!

Thank you for your comments and suggestions. I do try to add images and videos to my posts. It just depends on the subject matter. Some subjects have more media than others.
