Woolworth’s was the Christmas go-to store!

Everything you needed for Christmas you could buy at Woolworth’s.

Christmas decorations big and small

Giant mesh stockings filled with toys for girls and boys.

Ornaments for your tree

And don’t forget the electric lights

Woolworth’s was America’s Toyland.

I almost bought a Norelco razor for my father at Woolworth’s

I would sing along to all the songs played over the P.A. while at Woolworth’s.

As in the song, Woolworth’s was known as a “5 and 10” or a “dime store.”

Grandma bought her Putz houses at Woolworth’s.

You could find special Christmas candy at Woolworth’s.

I enjoyed making pictures on the windows with Glass Wax from Woolworth’s.

Woolworth’s was crammed full with shoppers.

Woolworth’s was the go-to store.
